I know what you're thinking, but we're seriously not gay.
Rec Ong Shen Yang with his Dad and Mum!
Buddy (aka Jian Wen) with the hunk of the year.
Yes, yes. I know. Don't ask me why I was laughing like that.
Platoon 2 Section 3 will rock your socks!
He's the "I can't do pull-up" man, Mr Kek Li Song!

Finally, after 8 wks + 2 days of gruelling basic military training, Ong has become a real tough men, able to do whatever that he was unable to do in the past. (except the SOC)

Ok. Here's how it went. *blah blah blah* refer to past blog posts.

So on the fateful day, Sept 11 2007. The Whiskey warriors from the 03/07 batch had our POP.

When we're on the parade square, the sun shone on us relentlessly, with the rays of sunlight hitting hard on our scalp. The temperature almost hit 40 degrees (ok, i'm just joking) but it was freaking hot.

Everything's quite fine on that day, no rain, no major cock-ups (meaning that there were still some minor screw-ups), but that's ok. The important thing is "Get most of the things right."

And as the school sergeant major rightly put it, *pinches nose* "todaayyy, is your D-Daaayy. All the Haaarrrddd work, that you have put iiiinnnnn, is going to pay off today. Your pareeeennnnnttttsss and loved ooonnnnneeeessss, are going to see yoooouuuu."

Our SSM is damn one-kind. haha. ok. shall talk more about him in the other blog posts next time. Anyway, it's really a very different feeling when Dad put on my jockey cap for me on the parade square.

I was like "It's finally over!"

Standing beside me was my buddy with his parents. Both very happy also. So I introduced my buddy to Dad and Mum. haha.

Oh yes, did I also said that my buddy is a SJAB Officer from Zone 8? haha. That day we were also thinking of how to improve our Corps' standards. He said his Corps need to train up his NC Team. Then i say my Corps need to train up the AC Team. Then we had this crazy idea of cross-training with each other.

Haha. it's crazy and funny. But some how it seems very feasible. They train up our AC, we train up their NC. Good. haha.

Anyway, photos of the POP is included in this blog posts as well. for more information, please contact bugger, No, I mean, blogger.
