just finished my PRMP paper.. aka public relation management and practices. what the hell, i still have media law and ethics paper to come. very shack already. but have to press on. all my hard work for the past 3 months are going to pay off already. cannot give up at this moment. oh ya, i went back to Kranji last saturday. then nothing much and i held my newsletter committee meeting after the training. suddenly Amelia got a phone call from Aisyah saying that someone had fallen unconscious outside the school. so Kenneth got out with a first aid kit. then Sir Derrick also Kaypoh la, so he went out to take a look. then i continued my meeting. everybody's attention was not with me, but i had to carry on none the less. so i finished my meeting and i got a phone call from Shixian. Asking me to bring a face mask over. then i knew the situation should have got worse. so i scrambled to find the freaking face mask and i managed to calm myself down before handing my hand phone over to shaifu and say, "stay in the room wait for my call, i might need the stretcher" then i ran out. everything was like what you would normally see in the movies, the medic will run out and pass the face mask. but anyway, reached there, only to find out that Sir Derrick has started CPR on the person liao, with a bandage covering the mouth. it was an Indian man, fat and bearded. then many people was crowding around. some of the cadets were also standing by the road side to see the process. everybody was kind of like learning ba, i guess. then i heard from Kenneth that there was this uncle who acted like he know eveything and how he pushed Ken away and do CPR incorrectly. this is a warning to all of you out there, if you really do not know anything about CPR, please do not act as if you know just because you watch TV and presume you know everything. that person might just die because you acted like you know and you can be sued for harming him rather than helping him and you can also be sued for obstructing an medic from saving the live of the casualty.

but i hope that person recovers fast, here's a quote from Mr. Chin, My Essentials of Finance (EOF) lecturer;

"whatever does not kill you will only make you stronger".

end

love and peace out

I’ve not been blogging for such a long time. And there’re so many things I want to say. I remind you, this is going to be long.

The following is an outline:

1) MRT issue
2) Attitudes of Chinese nationals
3) SJAB
4) Childish behaviour of certain people
5) Selfish group mates

1)
Well, yesterday I went back to school. Then of course I need to take the train to and fro school. It’s almost impossible to walk there. But anyway, I think Singaporeans really have a serious problem boarding the train. Firstly, they are very selfish. They would always think of themselves first. If you take a train at around 8.30 am from Boon Lay and alight at Jurong East, you will feel like a superstar. Because all your “fans” would be crowding and standing so near to the train doors, that you hardly can make your way out of the train. I thought there are signboards and announcements everywhere to tell people to give way to the alighting passengers before boarding? What the hell is wrong with these people? And the people who are already inside the train will never budge to make more room for the people coming in. Utterly selfish bunch of people I must say. Remember the announcement, “please move towards the centre of the car”? who the hell actually listens to these announcements? NOBODY! The worse part is, yesterday when I was on the train at Bukit Batok, an old lady boarded the train and I guess she was too tired or something, then she couldn’t find a seat and she sat on the floor, near to the door. Where are the people giving up their seats for her? So I looked around, to see if anyone was willing to spare their seat for this poor old lady. So I looked around and stared at a young man, using my eye powers to tell him, “HEY YOU! Give up your damn seat to this old lady!” but guess what?! He shut his eyes and pretended to sleep! Hell.. there was nothing much that I could do, but to tell myself, “ this world was never kind to anyone in the first place”

2)
Yes, I was talking about going back to school yesterday. I went back because I wanted to print some past year exam papers for my exam revision. So I booked a computer and went to the lab. But I found a Chinese sitting at the station which I had booked. I looked at the screen and found that it wasn’t signed in, so I figured that he was just using the place for doing his homework. So I went up and told him NICELY, “excuse me, I have booked this station, do you mind…” I haven’t even complete my sentence, then he stood up, pushed his chair away, slammed all the notes into his file and stormed off to another empty station in the same room. That was what really upset me. Did I do anything wrong by asking him to move away? NO! so I also blew my top, I kicked the chair that he sat on, well, of course you can’t expect me to sit on it right, after its kind of “heated up” by his ass. And I slammed my bag on the table, then went to another station and took the other chair, pushed it back to the station that I have booked, sat down and began hitting the keys on the keyboard to sign in. By this time, everyone in the room was looking at me, and of course that brainless bastard who upset me. Then my friend, Yuan Li, who was beside me also was shocked. So he quickly calmed me down before I whack that idiot. Then, I heard him talking to his friend, then I know he is not local. He’s a Chinese national. Then I really got mad. Somebody should just put these bastards in place, man. They are here in Singapore and they still dare to do such things to the locals. Even the bangras in my school don’t dare to do this. What makes this bastard think that he could do this? I’m not trying to be a racist or nationalist here. In fact I am ashamed of having a Chinese counterpart like him.

3)
I’m having a problem with my SJAB too. Supposed to be the coordinator of this event. Then, I am supposed to go and call up some people whom I do not really know, because they are going to be the judge for an internal first aid competition that is going to be held in Kranji. Still trying to get them, though.

4)
Then there are the childish people in my class. You know, in my class, there are certain people who always group themselves together for project work. That is what really upsets me. Howie is always grouped with Joanne, Ellse, with Wan Lin, then Zali with Zarifah, Joshua with XY, Wai Shin, Mei Yi, and Me. Then there are always people being left out and they have to be Victor, Aung, Meena and Cheryl. I really cannot work with all of them. but neither can the rest of the class. They always come to my group. Especially for meena and Cheryl. This semester was really tiring for me. I am the group leader, then there is one who always cannot agree with me, that is meena, she is very very stubborn and a control freak. Everything I do, I have to kind of like report to her. Mind you, I am the leader, you know. That day she was commenting that my presentation slides are too plain. Too plain?! Then come and do it yourself! If you are that good at presentation, then come up with your own presentation slides and present! I’ll give you this chance! Idiot. I found it utterly irritating when she was still trying to find “nicer” templates for my slides, right up the last hour of my presentation, during “AD-venture”. Ok, AD-venture is part of a larger event that I was organizing called, “Communication 101” during “AD-venture, I am supposed to do a mini-presentation for my participants, on the tips for creating a good TV commercial. Then meena was always trying to change my presentation stuffs, asking me to change this, change that, what the ****. Change what?! Change everything into Indian designs ah? **** you! Really cannot work with her. Really. Our temperaments are too alike, that we are both very stubborn.

Then Cheryl, who saw this situation, went up to Meena and told her off, “Can you not tell the leader what to do? Just let him do what he feels is right and you as a member, follow his instructions!” that sentence made me feel better.

But guess what? When I was giving out instructions during an activity, Cheryl rudely interrupted me just because I missed out some minor details and she overtook the whole situation. I was so mad, I walked away, blending myself into the background.

At this point, I was very mad. Very mad with both Meena and Cheryl. So Cheryl came to me and said that my instructions was not clear enough. Then I got really angry and I couldn’t control myself anymore, I told her off. I told her, that when I am giving instructions, she should have just shut up.

Because if you have ever been in a unformed group, you should know that when your fellow instructor is giving instructions, you shut up.

But she doesn’t seem to understand this. Then she started telling me all the things that are not relevant to our topic of argument. Anyway, I apologised after that. Because after all, we’ll still be in the same class next year. I don’t want things to turn out ugly for all of us.

SOME PEOPLE JUST CANNOT CONTROL THEIR EMOTIONS AND THE BAD SIDE OF THEM WILL SHOW UP. THEN WE REALLY KNOW, THEY ARE UTTERLY SELFISH.

Mark my words, “NO MEENA AND CHERYL FOR ANY PROJECTS FOR THE NEXT SEMESTER!!!!!!”
